My Sisterlocks never snapped, popped, or thinned. When you get Sisterlocks you have to make the commitment to maintain them, in most cases every 6-8 weeks. By waiting longer between retightenings you will be more prone to issues with your Sisterlocks and poor integrity within the Sisterlocks structure.
